Christmas Home Tour

My favorite part of Christmas is celebrating the birth of king Jesus with loved ones and all the traditions that come with it, and my second favorite part is the magical feeling of home when it’s all lit and decorated for Christmas. I want to take you on a Christmas Home Tour to show you where I create memories in my home to make the holidays extra special and memorable!

Dining Room

The first stop on my Christmas Home Tour is my formal dining room. It is my favorite room in my house because of all the blue and white! This year, I wanted to put a Christmas tree in a chinoiserie planter to sit in the windowsill, and it took me three tries to get the size right! The final product is the tree pictured below.

For a tutorial on how to stabilize your Christmas tree in your Chinoiserie planter, watch my Instagram reel here.

This chinoiserie planter is the closest thing I’ve found to my planter pictured above.

Dining Table

The next stop in my Christmas Home Tour is my Dining Table! I love creating a pretty tablescape, because I think it sets an incredible first impression when guests arrive to your home. This year, I placed Christmas cards at each place setting for a special and personal touch.

I love these white ceramic trees because they can be displayed all winter on my table and aren’t too Christmasy. Shop them here.

Formal Living Room

The next stop in my Christmas Home Tour is my formal living room! This room is so elegant yet cozy, and it also has a street-facing window adjacent to the dining room, so I put a full size Christmas tree in the window, and this is where our presents were tucked before Christmas.

This year I purchased new stockings that were softer pastel colors to go with my decor. Shop them below!

Entryway

The next destination on my Christmas Home Tour is my entryway! My new chandelier by Julie Neill is stealing the show in this room! I absolutely love it and think if you need a focal point fixture, you cannot go wrong with this beauty! Shop all of my lighting at Mayer Lighting Showroom!

My grandmother’s mirror is an heirloom piece, but I have several similar gold mirrors links below!
Below are some chinoiserie ginger jars just like the one I have!

Pink and White Tree

The next stop on my Christmas Home Tour is my daughter’s room! I did a sweet little pink and white tree in her room next to her bed. I adorned her tree with sweet nutcracker and ballerina ornaments as well as white poinsettias and blush velvet ribbon. Her tree is finished with a pink buffalo check tablecloth tree skirt and ballerina wrapping paper from Simply Jessica Marie!

Simply Jessica Marie has the sweetest nutcracker ornaments and ballerina wrapping paper, perfect for a little girl’s room or pink and white tree!

Christmas Ornaments

Some of my favorite Christmas ornaments this year include hand stitched chinoiserie ornaments from All the Finery, custom needlepoint ornaments from A Needle Pushing Thread, hand painted oysters from Willow Sky, and of course everything from Simply Jessica Marie!
