Designing holiday decor is always special — but creating pieces that become part of someone’s Christmas traditions is something entirely different. This Christmas stocking collection, designed in collaboration with my dear friend and talented artist Nicole Speake, was created with that exact intention in mind: timeless pieces that feel meaningful, beautiful, and made to last.
From the beginning, we wanted these stockings to feel classic yet fresh — something that would look just as lovely in a traditional home as it would in a more collected, Grandmillennial space.
The Inspiration Behind the Collection
The inspiration for this collection came from a shared love of heritage patterns, soft color palettes, and layered homes that tell a story. We leaned into motifs that feel familiar and comforting — florals, stripes, bows, latticework — while reimagining them in a way that feels updated and elegant.
Instead of traditional holiday reds, we chose a muted sage green and dusty blue colorway. The result is a palette that feels calm, elevated, and incredibly versatile for a wide range of homes and decorating styles.

One of our main goals was to create a collection that could be mixed and matched easily — both now and in the future. Each stocking is designed to coordinate beautifully with the others, making it simple to add new pieces over time as families grow.

Materials & Craftsmanship
Each stocking is crafted from plush velvet, giving them a soft, substantial feel that drapes beautifully on the mantel. The weight and texture make them feel heirloom-quality — the kind of stockings you pull out year after year and associate with the warmth and memories of Christmas morning.
Many of the designs also coordinate with the pillow collection Nicole and I created together previously, making it easy to carry the look throughout your home during the holiday season.
